In the first year of the Information Technology with a specialism in Cloud Engineering program, students will develop a fundamental skills necessary for IT professionals and a basic understanding of computer systems, including computer architecture, operating systems, networks, and databases. Additionally, specialized modules offer students basic knowledge of web design and development. The modules also focus on developing personal and organizational skills, fostering creativity, and promoting innovation among students.
Moving into the second, students will gain a broad range of skills, including strategic management of computing resources, technical expertise in infrastructure configuration and maintenance, and programming skills for network administration and security. Students will also develop creativity, innovation, and independent learning abilities to excel in the workplace.
The 16-week internship or industrial training, Students will complete a minimum 16-week Internship/Industrial Training to smoothly transition from the classroom to the working environment and gain practical experience.
The final year of the program ,students will leverage their previous studies and industrial experience to develop their expertise. They will learn to design and manage cloud-based systems using programming skills, management strategies, and planning techniques. The curriculum will deepen their understanding of enterprise network components, edge computing concepts, and methodologies. A final year project will allow students to apply their technical knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills to solve real-world problems and create a personal achievement portfolio.
Students in the Bachelor's Degree Programme have the option to participate in the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme, which grants them two degree certificates and transcripts upon graduation: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK.

• 2 Passes in STPM with minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject with a Credit in Mathematics at SPM.
