Embark on a transformative journey with APU University Malaysia Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Information Technology with a specialism in Sustainable Computing program. Explore a myriad of invaluable insights and skills, detailed below:
In the first year of the Information Technology with a specialism in Sustainable Computing program, students will develop a fundamental skills required in IT, such as computer architecture, operating systems, networks, and databases. Specialized modules provide basic knowledge of web design and development. The curriculum also emphasizes personal and organizational skills development, as well as nurturing creativity and innovation.
Moving into the second, students will delve into sustainable computing principles, including environmental, social, and economic aspects. They will explore advanced concepts like green computing, sustainable technology policies, and implementing sustainability in enterprise resource planning. This equips students to address sustainability challenges in computing.
The 16-week internship or industrial training, Students will participate in a 16-week Internship/Industrial Training to smoothly transition from the classroom to the working environment and gain practical experience.
The final year of the program ,Students will leverage their previous studies and industrial experience to deepen their understanding of sustainable computing. They will explore emerging trends in areas such as renewable energy, digital strategies, and leadership roles in promoting sustainable practices in organizations. The final year project will allow them to apply their technical knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills to solve real-world problems and create a personal achievement portfolio.
Students in the Bachelor's Degree Programme have the option to participate in the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme, which grants them two degree certificates and transcripts upon graduation: one from Asia Pacific University (APU) in Malaysia and one from De Montfort University (DMU) in the UK.

• 2 Passes in STPM with minimum Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject with a Credit in Mathematics at SPM.
