 The Accounting program provides students with a comprehensive curriculum covering various aspects of accounting, business management, information technology, and related subjects.

Semester 1 focuses on building basic IT skills and developing design thinking skills with a focus on digital innovation. Students are introduced to terminologies and concepts related to business managerial skills.

Semester 2 offers modules in professional communications and quantitative methods to further develop accounting knowledge and skills. Students also learn about information systems in accounting, specifically practicing AIS applications for strategic and operational decision-making.

Semester 3 advances students' understanding of financial accounting and introduces related subjects such as economics, marketing, and business statistics to enhance problem-solving and decision-making abilities in different business areas.

Dual Degrees from APU and DMU United Kindom

Students who joined the Diploma in Accounting at APU University Malaysia will have the option to apply for the APU-DMU Dual Degree Scheme. Under this Scheme, students will be able to get 2 Degree Certificates and transcripts upon graduation: 1 from Asia Pacific University (APU), Malaysia, and 1 from De Montfort University (DMU), UK. please note this is optional and costs GBP 375 Per year. Entry Requirements

SPM

• 3 Credits in at least 3 subjects at SPM level including Mathematics, with a minimum of a pass in Bahasa Malaysia and Sejarah (History)
