The Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) (Honours) program at Curtin University Malaysia focuses on the analysis and development of technological systems that involve motion, allowing society to harness the energy and forces present in nature to meet its needs. These systems can consist of mechanisms or machines comprising moving components, as well as fluid flow within or around solid structures to generate forces or energy interactions. The applications of mechanical engineering span from micro-mechanical devices to large-scale power-generating turbines. Mechanical engineers are involved in various tasks, including component or system design and specification, planning and design of manufacturing processes, plant operation and maintenance, consulting, research and development, and management. These responsibilities are relevant to a wide range of industries, such as power generation, aerospace, material processing, transportation, water supply, and their associated support industries. Graduates of this program acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to these industries and drive technological advancements.
For other qualifications and certificates (e.g., UEC, Foundation, STAM, etc..) please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.
