The Master of Medical Science (MSc) (By Research) program at the University of Cyberjaya aims to develop fully equipped research scientists who can contribute to the advancement of knowledge and the practice of medical sciences.

This program requires candidates to conduct a detailed study and evaluation of an approved research topic and present a dissertation. The research topic will be subject to an oral examination where candidates will display critical thinking, defend their dissertation, and present the outcomes of their research.

Entry requirements

• Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent.
• Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a CGPA between 2.75 and 2.50 may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
• Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a CGPA less than 2.50, but with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, may also be accepted subject to internal assessment.
• Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government and acceptable to the University are also considered.

For international students, a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (pBT) or 80 (iBT), or an IELTS score of 6.0, or any other equivalent qualifications, are required to demonstrate English language proficiency.
