A Bachelor of Chemical Engineering is an undergraduate degree program focused on the application of chemical principles and engineering techniques. The program covers subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering, preparing students for careers in industries such as pharmaceuticals, energy, manufacturing, and environmental engineering.
All students by default will be enrolled into the MEng programme at the point of entry. This is done for the applicant’s eligibility for PTPTN’s study loan, as well as for recognition by the Board of Engineers Malaysia. You may choose to opt out of the MEng programme, and proceed to a BEng programme during your Second Year.
BEng students who meet the progression requirements for the MEng programme may transfer programmes at the end of Year 2.
Students undertake a compulsory industrial training placement.
