The Bachelor of Education in Teaching Arabic as a Second Language (Honours) program at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is designed to produce high-quality graduates in secondary education who meet the needs of the Ministry of Education Malaysia. This program aims to develop educators with high potential who can serve as role models for students and the surrounding communities.
The program is structured to achieve several key objectives. It focuses on producing professionally trained graduate teachers who uphold the Islamic philosophy of education and are committed to serving the nation and the Ummah. Additionally, it addresses the growing need for teachers with an integrated personality and tawhidic worldview, equipping them to act as exemplary role models for the younger generation.
Furthermore, the program embodies and revitalizes the IIUM mission of Islamicization, Internationalization, Integration, and Comprehensive Excellence (IIICE), ensuring that graduates exemplify these values in their professional and personal lives.
