The Bachelor of Education in Teaching English as a Second Language (Honours) program at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is designed to produce high-quality graduates in secondary education who meet the needs of the Ministry of Education Malaysia and other educational agencies. This program aims to develop graduates with high potential who can serve as role models for students and the surrounding communities.
The program is structured to achieve several key objectives. It focuses on producing professionally trained graduate teachers who uphold the Islamic philosophy of education and are dedicated to serving the nation and the Ummah. Additionally, it addresses the growing demand for teachers who embody an integrated personality and tawhidic worldview, enabling them to act as exemplary role models for the younger generation.
