The Bachelor of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh (Honours) program at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) provides students with a comprehensive introduction to Islamic jurisprudence and legal theory. This program goes beyond mere textual reading and memorization of the juristic legacy; it emphasizes the analysis of different viewpoints and arguments, evaluation of the proofs underlying each juristic ruling, and appreciation of diverse positions.
A key focus is on contextualizing juristic discourses to address the legal needs of Muslims in a globalized world.
