The Bachelor of Science in Physics (Honours) program at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is a comprehensive undergraduate course that covers classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and quantum mechanics. The program is designed to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and computational skills while providing students with extensive hands-on laboratory experience.
A notable feature of this program is the opportunity for students to specialize in one of three concentrations: Bio-Physics, Instrumentation, or Computational Physics. This allows students to tailor their education to align with their interests and career aspirations.
Additionally, the program incorporates practical laboratory work utilizing modern facilities and project-based experiments. Students also benefit from real-world exposure through industrial training, offering placements with industry and research partners. This holistic approach prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in physics and related fields.
