International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) ?

The Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology (Honours) program at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, assess, and manage communication and swallowing disorders. In the first year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of normal speech, language, and communication, as well as areas such as linguistics, audiology, psychology, anatomy, and physiology.

This foundational knowledge prepares students to explore various aspects of atypical speech, language, hearing, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Clinical training and placements are essential for developing students' clinical competencies, particularly in the third and final years. Students are trained to integrate theories and Islamic ethics with clinical practice in assessing and managing communication and swallowing disorders.
