The Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering (By Research) program at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is designed to cultivate advanced research skills in engineering disciplines. This program encourages students to undertake innovative research that contributes significantly to the field while addressing contemporary engineering challenges.

Students in this program will work closely with experienced faculty members to develop original research projects that showcase their ability to apply advanced engineering concepts. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and technical competencies, equipping graduates with the skills necessary to make meaningful contributions to engineering practice and knowledge.

Entry Requirements 

• A relevant bachelor’s degree (honours) in Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering or a related field from the IIUM or any other accredited institution of higher learning.
