Doctor of Philosophy — Planetary Health (By Research) at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is a focused research doctorate that develops expertise in the links between human health and planetary systems. Through independent, interdisciplinary research, candidates address issues such as climate change and health, pollution, food and water security, biodiversity loss, and policy responses using rigorous methods. The programme culminates in an original thesis and prepares graduates for leadership in academia, policy, and public health practice at local, regional and global levels.
