The Master in Sustainability Science (Mixed Mode) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is designed to address the urgent sustainability challenges of our time. The programme adopts a human‑centred approach that blends theoretical foundations with applied practice, equipping students with interdisciplinary tools to design and implement sustainable solutions. Through a combination of coursework and supervised research, candidates learn to evaluate trade‑offs, promote social equity, and advance human well‑being while responding to environmental and socio‑economic constraints.
