The Master of Architecture (By Coursework) at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is designed to equip students holding a B.Sc in Architectural Studies or LAM Part 1 with a high standard of competency and knowledge in architecture and the construction industry. The program emphasizes a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to both the natural and built environments, fostering the capacity to ensure their well-being for future generations through a Tauhidic approach.
Graduates of this program gain advanced knowledge in core areas of architecture and construction from both Malaysian and international perspectives. They develop a deeper understanding, knowledge, and skills in related fields such as building construction, civil and structural engineering, planning and development, as well as theory and philosophy. The integration of Islamic values and worldviews within the curriculum ensures that graduates are well-aware of their roles as Khalifah and Murabbi in response to the demands of this challenging profession.
Entry Requirements
• A Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies (IIUM) or equivalent to LAM Part-I, with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent
