The Master of Arts in Islamic Thought and Civilisation (By Research) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) cultivates advanced scholarly expertise in Islamic intellectual and civilisational studies through a research‑focused pathway. The programme develops graduates with rigorous, comprehensive and integrated knowledge, alongside the analytical skills and professional dispositions needed to undertake original research. Graduates are prepared to pursue careers as researchers, academics, trainers or consultants who apply critical, context‑sensitive perspectives to issues in Islamic thought and civilisation at both local and international levels.

Entry Requirements 

• Obtained a CGPA of 2.7 and above in a related field.
