The Master of Education in Teaching of Arabic to Non‑Arabic Speakers (Mixed Mode) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) combines structured coursework with supervised research to prepare skilled educators and curriculum developers for teaching Arabic to non‑native learners. The programme integrates advanced studies in Arabic pedagogy, curriculum and materials design, needs analysis, assessment, and classroom management with practical teaching experience and a research component. Emphasising contemporary, learner‑centred and technology‑enhanced methodologies, it also promotes culturally responsive practices tailored to diverse learning contexts. Graduates are ready to lead language programmes, design curricula, train teachers and undertake applied research in Arabic language education across academic and professional settings.
