The Master of Education in Teaching of Islamic Education (By Coursework) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is a professional programme designed to deepen pedagogical expertise and subject knowledge for educators of Islamic education. Through advanced coursework and practical training, the programme equips participants with contemporary instructional strategies, curriculum design skills, assessment techniques and classroom management approaches tailored to Islamic education settings. Emphasis is placed on integrating Islamic perspectives with modern educational theories, developing value‑centred teaching materials, and fostering reflective, research‑informed practice.
Graduates are prepared to lead curriculum development, deliver effective teaching, mentor and train other educators, and assume leadership roles in schools, colleges and community education programmes. The programme also provides a foundation for those wishing to pursue further research or doctoral study in Islamic education and related fields.

2.50 from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) or any other accredited institution of higher learning.
