The Master of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh at IIUM prepares graduates to become practitioners in Islamic Jurisprudence. Within a few years of completing the program, graduates will analyze major issues using their knowledge of Islamic principles and contribute ethically to society. They will lead Islamic initiatives locally and globally, utilizing effective communication skills.
Graduates will demonstrate expertise in Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh, applying practical skills for personal and professional development. The program fosters cooperation and a commitment to ethical practices while promoting leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Additionally, students will develop information management skills and strategies for lifelong learning. They will gain basic managerial and entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to relate Islamic teachings to contemporary realities effectively, ensuring their relevance and impact in various contexts.

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by
the Senate
