The Master of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Heritage in Qur’an and Sunnah (By Research) at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) offers a specialized and thorough study of various aspects of the Qur'an and Sunnah/Hadith. The program covers interpretation, narration, refutation of deviant approaches, and the cultivation of ideas to make revealed teachings relevant in contemporary life.
Students will explore diverse dimensions of the discipline, drawing from a rich heritage while engaging with modern discourses in the field. This approach ensures that graduates are well-equipped to contribute meaningfully to the understanding and application of Islamic teachings in today's context.
Entry Requirements
• A Bachelor’s degree (honours) in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by
the Senate

• Textual Studies from the Books of Tafsir
• Textual Reading from the Six Hadith Collections
