The Master of Medicine in Radiology (Clinical Specialist Training) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is an on‑the‑job postgraduate clinical programme established in June 2015. Delivered over a minimum of four years and up to seven years, the training combines workplace‑based clinical attachments with structured learning to develop competent, practice‑ready radiologists. The curriculum is organised into three progressive phases: Phase I (Year 1) provides foundational radiological knowledge and skills; Phase II (Years 2–3) comprises rotational clinical postings to broaden subspecialty experience; and Phase III (Year 4) focuses on advanced practice and consolidation of clinical competence. Graduates are prepared to provide high‑quality diagnostic imaging services, engage in evidence‑based practice and contribute to education and service development in the region.
