The Master of Urban and Regional Planning (Mixed Mode) at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) is a program offered by the Department of Urban & Regional Planning. To earn the degree, candidates must complete a minimum of 42 credit hours, including a 12-credit hour dissertation.

The program prepares students to develop statutory plans and conduct feasibility studies related to land use and the built environment. It emphasizes the importance of responsible land development, professional ethics, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Students will engage in critical thinking and problem-solving within the framework of sustainable development while gaining experience in advocacy planning and modern technology. The curriculum fosters innovation and teamwork, encouraging students to integrate Islamic principles and values into their practices. Entry Requirements 

• A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent
