The Master of Clinical Psychology is a graduate program that equips students with the skills necessary for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Graduates become clinical psychologists capable of working in various settings, providing evidence-based interventions, conducting assessments, and promoting mental health and well-being. The program includes practical skills training that enables graduates to apply evidence-based practices and theories effectively across diverse populations. As a result, they are well-prepared to take on roles in healthcare, education, research, corporate environments, and community settings. The program is provisionally accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), allowing graduates to apply for registration and practice clinical psychology with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council.

Entry Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree of at least 3 years’ duration in Psychology or its equivalent with minimumCGPA 2.75 out of 4.00
  • Note: A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology not meeting CGPA of 2.75 (but not lower than 2.5) may be considered subject to rigorous internal assessment by an independent review panel
