International Medical University (IMU) ?

The IMU Medical program emphasizes Medical Sciences during the first 2.5 years, after which students undertake Clinical Training either at IMU’s Clinical Campuses in southern Malaysia or at a Partner Medical School (PMS) overseas. Upon completing the five-year program, students are awarded the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degree – MBBS (IMU). Those who finish their degree at a Partner Medical School receive a degree from that institution.

Since August 2017, IMU has integrated the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Preparatory Course into the curriculum across Semesters 1 to 10. This addition enables IMU medical graduates to prepare early for the USMLE, opening up potential career opportunities in the United States. Additionally, students have the chance to participate in clinical electives at selected hospitals in the USA, enhancing their learning experience within diverse healthcare systems.
