The goal of this program is to provide students with a thorough understanding of both the theory and practice of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It is designed to offer a broad knowledge base and develop essential skills needed for the Electrical and Electronics industry, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the workforce. Furthermore, this program serves as a pathway for students to pursue advanced degree courses.

MAHSA’s Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (DEE) spans 2.5 years and consists of seven semesters. The majority of the program is conducted at the MAHSA University campus, complemented by laboratory work. The curriculum promotes a student-centered approach to learning, emphasizes problem-based learning, and includes hands-on training, aiding students in developing critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

After completing the first year, students will undertake industrial training or an internship in the third semester of their second year. This internship lasts for 12 weeks and provides essential exposure to a real work environment. Students will be supervised by a lecturer who coordinates with industry professionals. At the conclusion of the internship, students must submit a report, while industries will evaluate and give feedback on the students’ performance. This practical experience not only familiarizes students with workplace dynamics but also enhances their technical report writing skills.

The program equips students with advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills, while also fostering their ability to plan and manage projects effectively. Students will apply the concepts learned in their courses to analyze and tackle real-world industry needs, focusing on delivering the practical and theoretical expertise required for successful careers in the industry.
