MAHSA University Malaysia ?

MAHSA University’s Bachelor of Medical Imaging (Hons) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to train qualified radiographers in the proficient use of radiography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT scans), and ultrasound for diagnosing diseases and injuries. Graduates of this medical imaging program, also known as Medical Diagnostic Radiography, will be recognized as highly respected radiographers in high demand at hospitals and medical centers worldwide.

Throughout the course, students will delve into a range of complex subjects, including human anatomy and physiology, general pathology, radiation physics, medical radiations, x-ray techniques, clinical radiography, regional and sectional imaging for medical purposes, digital vascular imaging, mammography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, systematic imaging pathology, medical radiation science, radiation safety and biology, safety standards and procedures, radiographic practice, image interpretation, health statistics, and professional practice.

Upon completing the program, students will be equipped to perform a variety of expert tasks, such as correctly positioning patients to achieve optimal imaging results; using radiographic exposure factors to enhance image quality while minimizing radiation dosage; and effectively employing various medical imaging techniques to capture images of anatomical structures for injury and disease detection. They will also utilize nuclear medicine to assist in cancer treatment, ensure maximum safety in radiation use for both patients and themselves, assess patients’ needs to provide tailored solutions, adhere to strict safety standards in radiation practices, and offer comfort and support to patients.

Ultimately, graduates from MAHSA will be prepared to deliver a wide array of essential services to medical institutions around the globe.
