MAHSA University’s Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons) is a four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare students for careers in caring for and rehabilitating patients with neurological, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, or other debilitating conditions. The program focuses on employing expert techniques to alleviate pain, enhance movement, and restore muscle control to maximize mobility.

Students will engage in the study of functional anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, psychology fundamentals, physiotherapy rehabilitation, clinical practice, and health science research. They will learn to use physical manipulation techniques to regulate muscles and nerves, as well as various exercises tailored to specific needs. Additionally, students will explore the applications of electrotherapy, ultrasound, acupuncture, and hydrotherapy in their rehabilitation practices.

Entry Requirements

STPM

Pass Matriculation/Pre-University/STPM or equivalent with minimum GPA 2.33 in TWO of the following subjects:
- Biology
- Physics/Mathematics
- Chemistry
