The Diploma in Nursing program at MAHSA University Malaysia is a highly regarded 3-year course designed for SPM-leavers interested in caring for patients in hospitals, hospices, and emergency medical centers. Students study core medical subjects like anatomy, biology, pathology, pharmacology, and safety procedures, as well as support subjects including communication techniques, psychological support, English language, and computer technology.

Upon graduation, students are prepared for employment and equipped with skills to assess and plan nursing care, provide pre- and post-surgical care, administer medications and intravenous treatments, monitor vital signs and collect samples, maintain medical records, and organize work duties. They also develop the ability to offer essential emotional support and medical advice to patients and their families.

Entry Requirements  

Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or *equivalent with five (5) subjects (minimum Gred C):

• Credit in Mathematics (Elementary or Additional or Modern).

AND
Either one (1) of the credit below:

• Science/Biology/Chemistry/Physics/Applied Science

AND

• Credit in three (3) other subjects
