The Diploma in Pharmacy program at MAHSA University Malaysia prepares students to become competent pharmacy assistants in diverse pharmaceutical settings. The program covers essential topics such as the use of medicine, human physiology, and the provision of pharmacy services in hospitals and community pharmacies. Key areas of study include pharmacy terminology, drug prescription, pharmacy practices, and inventory control. In the final year, students gain practical experience through placements in community pharmacies, health clinics, and hospitals, where they familiarize themselves with the role and responsibilities of a pharmacist. Upon completion, graduates are well-equipped to excel as well-trained pharmacy assistants in various pharmaceutical settings.

Entry Requirements  

SPM

• Pass with 3 credits including 1 science subject
  (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science [Sains Am]) and 2 other subjects
  * Candidates who wish to further their studies to BPharm must obtain min. 5 B’s in Biology & Chemistry & Physics & Mathematics/Additional Mathematics & 1 other subject at SPM level/equivalent
