MAHSA University offers a full-time Master of Physiotherapy program (1 year) and a part-time option (2 years), allowing candidates to specialize in either Musculoskeletal or Neurology. This innovative program is designed for physiotherapists looking to advance their careers while serving the community as evidence-based practitioners, equipped with strong clinical reasoning skills to make informed decisions regarding complex musculoskeletal and neurological issues.

To transition from an entry-level therapist to a specialist, candidates must complete a postgraduate degree with coursework in their chosen discipline. The credentials earned through this program can significantly enhance career progression as a Physiotherapist, opening doors to further research and various career advancement opportunities as specialists, educators, policymakers, or clinical managers.

The program employs a diverse range of teaching methods, including higher-order problem-solving activities, case studies, practice-based learning, peer support, and blended learning through e-Learning platforms. It comprises both coursework and research components, with a strong emphasis on developing advanced skills in the respective fields. The full-time program is primarily conducted on campus, with clinical placements at affiliated hospitals. The part-time program is delivered in blocks, featuring face-to-face sessions on campus supported by e-Learning. All modules are taught by practicing experts, specialists, and academics, ensuring alignment with the latest developments in the field.

Entry Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Level 6 MQF) or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.50 in related field, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
