The Doctor of Philosophy (Management) (BY RESEARCH) program is offered by the Faculty of Management. This research-intensive program is designed to prepare you for advanced research in your chosen field of interest, such as accounting, auditing, business, banking, corporate governance, economics, finance, human resources, information technology management, marketing, organizational behavior, quantitative finance, taxation, and more. Throughout your studies, you will receive guidance and supervision from active and reputable researchers. Additionally, you will have access to excellent research facilities to support your scholarly pursuits. Ultimately, this program aims to foster your success as a researcher in the field of management.

Entry Requirements

• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF)  in the field or related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate, subject to having relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment; or
• A Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in non-related fields as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to passing pre-requisite courses; or
• A Bachelor’s degree with minimum CGPA of 3.67 or equivalent in the field or related field from MMU or institutions recognised by Senate can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or
• Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s degree (Level 7, MQF) in the field recognised by Malaysian Government.
