The Bachelor of Optometry (Hons) Program at Managment & Science University (MSU) Malaysia is a specialized healthcare program that trains students to detect, diagnose, and manage ocular diseases. Throughout the program, students gain skills in examining, diagnosing, treating, and managing diseases and disorders of the visual system. The curriculum includes laboratory and clinical sessions, collaborative assessments and projects to develop analytical, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. Students also have the option to study abroad through the MSU Global Mobility Programme to experience different learning environments. Industrial training provides practical working exposure, and completion of the program allows registration with the Malaysia Optical Council (MOC) for certification as a practitioner in Malaysia.

Entry Requirements  

  • You need minimum FIVE (5) C including THREE (3) from among Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics at SPM/O-levels and at least a credit in English AND 2.50 CGPA at STPM level in the Science Stream
