A PhD by Research (Biomedicine) is a doctoral program focused on independent research in the field of biomedicine, allowing students to contribute to scientific knowledge and pursue careers in academia, industry, or healthcare. Students work closely with faculty advisors to conduct original research in areas such as molecular biology, genetics, immunology, pharmacology, or biomedical engineering.

• Prospective applicants must have a Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification approved by MSU Senate.
