The MSc in Biotechnology is a postgraduate taught program designed to tackle global challenges related to food security, reduce hunger, enhance bioproduction and bioprocesses for industrial applications, and promote novel drug discovery and therapeutic biotechnology. Students are required to attend all lectures and formal teaching sessions as scheduled. All lecture materials will be accessible online through Moodle, providing students with unlimited access to program content both on and off campus.

Entry Requirements

STPM

At least a second class honours degree (or international equivalent) in Biotechnology, Agricultural Sciences, Microbial Sciences, Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Genetics, Microbiology, or subjects related to life sciences. Non-UK qualifications will be assessed against this standard.
