Our research primarily focuses on developing intelligent systems and computational techniques applicable to a wide array of real-world problems. Our multidisciplinary efforts encompass areas such as human-computer interaction, computer vision, simulation and modeling, operational research, and computational intelligence.
Research conducted within the School is largely guided by the objectives and scope of the Centre for Intelligent Computing (CIC), which is connected to several university-wide priority areas. The CIC aligns with the four research themes pursued at the UK Campus while leveraging the specific expertise of staff involved in cross-campus co-supervision of research projects.
We provide high-quality doctoral training for postgraduate students interested in pursuing an MPhil or PhD. As a research student, you will collaborate with a supervisor who will assist you in your research and thesis development. While most research programs are aligned with the interests of faculty members within the school, we also support privately funded students who wish to explore alternative research projects.
For other qualifications and certificates please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.

All new postgraduates who join the school have the opportunity of broadening and updating their knowledge. A taught programme of research and transferable skills will be available to you as well as being able to attend lecture programmes on subjects relevant to your research. All postgraduate students are encouraged to present their work at specialised conferences and to publish papers in major scientific and engineering journals.
