Would you like to apply to
Nottingham University Malaysia ?

Our academic staff are engaged in active research, pursuing cutting-edge, policy-relevant, and curiosity-driven inquiries across a wide range of topics in international development, international relations, and politics. Our research and teaching activities benefit from resources provided by our partner schools in the UK and the Division of International Studies at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.

We organize seminars where academics and practitioners share their research findings and professional experiences. Additionally, the school’s student society, PHIR-NOTT, complements these formal activities with round-table discussions, guest speaker series, and other events.

International Relations examines the intricate relationships among states, societies, individuals, identities, and cultures from both theoretical and empirical perspectives. The discipline encompasses areas such as economics, law, politics, and security, and addresses fundamental questions about our understanding of contemporary global transformations. Throughout the program, you will explore the subject from multiple viewpoints, including state-centric, complex interdependence, and globalization perspectives. The degree is open to students from any discipline or career background, but it is particularly popular among those interested in pursuing careers in government or diplomatic services, international organizations, or the media.

Entry Requirements

A relevant second class honours degree (or international equivalent). Non-UK qualifications will be assessed against this standard.

If deemed necessary, applicants may also be required to attend an interview.

For other qualifications and certificates please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.
