Would you like to apply to
Nottingham University Malaysia ?

Our PhD degrees are available in both full-time and part-time formats, with part-time options offered exclusively to Malaysian students. Typically, a full-time PhD requires three years of research, followed by an additional year for writing up your thesis.

An MPhil degree may be awarded after one year of study, with an additional year for writing, if either you or the University determines that this is a more suitable qualification.

Research plays a vital role in the pharmaceutical industry, and our academic staff are at the forefront of scientific and healthcare advancements. Our current research areas showcase the diverse expertise of our faculty, the successful acquisition of research funding, and recent grant applications. We provide high-quality doctoral training for postgraduate students interested in pursuing an MPhil or PhD. As a research student, you will collaborate with a supervisor who will guide you in your research and thesis development.

Entry Requirements

  • An upper second class honours degree (or international equivalent) in pharmacy or a related scientific discipline. Non-UK qualifications will be assessed against this standard.
  • If deemed necessary, applicants may also be required to attend an interview.

For other qualifications and certificates please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.
