The Computer Science degree program emphasizes the design and development of systems infrastructure, alongside software and application technologies like web browsers and databases. This program has been crafted in accordance with the Malaysian Qualifications Agency Program Standards for Computing and the Curriculum Guidelines for Undergraduate Degree Programs in Computer Science published by ACM-IEEE CS (Association for Computing Machinery and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Computer Society, USA). It aims to equip graduates with the essential knowledge, principles, and skills needed to create innovative technological solutions in the field of Computer Science.

The curriculum offers a solid foundation in computer science, enabling you to acquire technical knowledge, including theoretical algorithm foundations necessary for developing advanced software and computing solutions. Throughout your studies, you will engage in various activities such as analyzing, modeling, designing, developing, and evaluating computing solutions. Additionally, there are electives in specialized areas such as computer vision and computer security.
