The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theatre Production is a comprehensive program that explores the dynamic practices of contemporary theatre-making. Students will refine their skills in performance, directing, design, and production management, supported by critical studies of history, context, and theory.

The curriculum also addresses the production of theatre in an increasingly digital landscape. Graduates will emerge with foundational skills in leadership, innovation, self-sustainability, and arts entrepreneurship.

This innovative program is taught by theatre practitioners and academics with diverse experiences, perspectives, and methodologies. In addition to lectures and practical studio sessions, students engage in tutorials, individual and group projects, guided research, fieldwork, and field trips.

Students will have numerous opportunities to network, collaborate, experiment, and discover their unique voices through five productions over three years. Additionally, they will complete a 12-week industrial placement prior to graduation.

Beyond the realm of theatre, this program equips students with skills that open up a wide range of early-career opportunities in the creative industries, including performance, production, and management for film, television, radio, digital and social media, broadcasting and journalism, music and dance, events and concerts, marketing and advertising, as well as entertainment and leisure sectors such as malls, zoos, museums, galleries, carnivals, and theme parks.
