The Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis programme at Sunway University aims to transform graduates into Malaysia Certified Behaviour Analysts after achieving the minimal supervised practice hours satisfying the training guidelines of the Malaysia Association of Behaviour Analysis. Sunway University is proud to be the first and only provider of the Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis programme in the Southeast Asia region. The curriculum of the programme covers a range of theoretical and practical aspects of applied behaviour analysis. Graduates will learn to analyse and modify behaviour using principles of applied behaviour analysis in any industry or circumstance that requires behavioural change or maintenance. They will understand these principles deeply and learn how to implement them effectively in various contexts, allowing them to address behavioural issues and promote positive behaviour change.
Graduates will also contribute predominantly to the behavioural assessments and interventions involving individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism. This could include designing and implementing behaviour intervention plans, conducting assessments to identify specific behavioural challenges, and collaborating with other professionals to provide comprehensive support.
