The Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) program is crafted in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), the largest professional body for HR and development worldwide, targeting aspiring managers and professionals aiming to become strategic leaders in human resource management.

Students will develop their expertise by engaging with contemporary HR theories, concepts, and tools while working collaboratively in teams throughout the program. This hands-on approach helps them acquire practical skills applicable in real-world settings. Given that today’s organizations function in complex and dynamic environments with diverse cultures and structures, the MHRM program equips students with the necessary knowledge and leadership skills to address HR challenges and fulfill the strategic requirements of businesses.

Upon completing the program, graduates are awarded dual certifications: an MHRM certificate from Sunway University and a postgraduate-level Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from CIPD. Graduates also achieve Associate Membership status with CIPD, enabling them to use the designation ‘Assoc CIPD’ after their names, signifying a recognized level of professional competence in HR practice.

Entry Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 as accepted by the HEP Senate.
