MSc in Psychology at Sunway University focuses on a topic of student's choice through an independent research project. It is specifically designed to enable students to develop research skills and to undertake independent research while broadening knowledge and understanding in an area of psychology that excites them.
Students will learn how to research the literature and to plan and manage a research project. The skills and attributes students gain in critical thinking, project management and report writing will help them to achieve their career potential. Core modules in the programme ensure that students are familiar with research methodologies and statistical techniques, which will allow them to perform effective research in various areas of psychology. These modules also aim to improve student's understanding of ethical issues and their ability to answer research questions pertaining to psychology.
The programme also provides an excellent springboard for students wishing to continue their studies through to the PhD level.

Bachelor’s Degree
A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 3.00

Any other qualifications will be considered on a case-to-case basis* and subject to the approval and acceptance by University Senate.
