The program invites higher education academics who are looking to enhance their practice and gain a deeper understanding of theoretical educational frameworks, theories, and principles that apply to their work. Through engagement with and reflection on data from various perspectives—such as students, self-assessment, literature, and peers—participants embark on a journey to discover what has worked and what hasn’t in their practice, allowing them to develop strategies for improvement within their specific contexts.

In the program, students will participate in a comprehensive curriculum that covers essential elements of higher education, including Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, Curriculum Design, Technology to Support Learning, Reflective Practice in Teaching, and more. The carefully selected subjects address the changing needs of modern higher education, ensuring that participants engage with relevant topics.

The program is designed to accommodate the busy schedules of academics. It spans 1 year and 5 months in a part-time format, allowing participants to balance their academic pursuits with their existing commitments.

Entry Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate
