The Diploma of Quantity Surveying program at Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus is designed to equip graduates with a comprehensive understanding of surveying principles and skills. This course provides a solid foundation that enables students to become adept problem solvers who possess a broad knowledge of the various aspects involved in the life cycle of a construction project. Graduates of the Diploma of Quantity Surveying program are well-prepared to pursue positions within the construction industry. They may find opportunities as construction managers, cost managers/quantity surveyors, project procurement managers, contract administrators, or even as advisors on development economics and contractual matters. The program equips graduates with the necessary expertise to effectively manage construction projects, assess costs, and provide valuable insights on contractual and economic considerations. By completing this diploma, students are equipped with the skills and knowledge to excel in various roles within the construction industry, contributing to the successful delivery of projects and the overall growth of the sector.

Entry Requirement

  • A pass in SPM with a minimum of 3 credits including Mathematics and Bahasa Melayu, or English.
  • A pass in STPM with Grade C (GPA 2.0) in 3 subjects,
  • A pass in UEC with at least 3B including Mathematics and Bahasa Melayu, or English.
