The Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) in Interactive Software Technology at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) equips graduates with essential technical knowledge and skills in computer science, focusing on the design and development of interactive software.
Given the increasing use of interactive multimedia across digital platforms, the skills developed in this program are highly sought after. Graduates can apply their expertise in various areas, including mobile application development, video games, simulators, data visualization, VR/AR/MR experiences, and educational and training materials.
The curriculum includes courses on game development, programming, game design, and graphics programming, alongside foundational studies in artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction.
Students also have the opportunity to engage with the industry through a 5-month industrial training program, allowing them to work on real-life projects in interactive software development. This hands-on experience significantly enhances their qualifications and career prospects upon graduation.
