The Bachelor of Information Systems (Honours) in Enterprise Information Systems at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) focuses on the critical role of information systems in organizations, enhancing daily business processes and promoting growth.

As the demand for information systems increases, various business functions—including sales and marketing, finance and accounting, manufacturing, human resources, supply chain management, customer relationship management, and knowledge management—are integrated into enterprise information systems to improve organizational performance.

This program equips students with the skills to solve practical problems related to the implementation of enterprise information systems in business settings. In addition to foundational computing knowledge, the curriculum includes courses on Business and Information Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, Enterprise Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, Data Warehouse Technology, Business Intelligence, Business Process Management, and Information Systems Implementation.

Students gain valuable industry experience through a 5-month industrial training program, where they work on real-life projects involving software development, implementation of enterprise information systems, and data analysis. This hands-on training enhances their qualifications and boosts their employment prospects.
