The Bachelor of Real Estate Management (Honours) at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) prepares students for diverse careers in property valuation, property management, property development, estate agency, research, and real estate investment and finance.
The program emphasizes core competencies necessary for property valuation across various types and purposes, including traditional, statutory, investment, plant and machinery, special properties, and development appraisal. Students receive training in property and estate management, covering areas such as development, land acquisition, facilities management, and the management and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Additionally, the curriculum focuses on financial, development, and investment practices, including investment analysis, viability studies, market studies, and portfolio management of investment properties, as well as financing real estate projects. This comprehensive approach equips graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the real estate industry.
