The Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nutrition at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) focuses on how food, nutrients, and dietary components influence growth, development, health, and disease. The program applies fundamental knowledge from pure science disciplines such as biochemistry, nutrition, biology, and microbiology.
Students explore various aspects of nutrition, including environmental, sociocultural, psychological, and behavioral factors related to food and eating. The program also addresses consumer concerns about food and water safety, food quality, and regulations.
