The Diploma in Graphic Design at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) is an integrated design program that nurtures students' creative passions while focusing on both conceptual and technical design skills. Also known as communication design, graphic design involves planning and projecting ideas through visual and textual forms to enhance user experience.

The curriculum covers a wide range of practices relevant to various sectors, including commercial, educational, environmental, cultural, and civic industries. Students will explore graphical aspects of print, illustration, and screen-based interactive design, addressing problem-solving challenges in visual communication.

Throughout the program, students will develop their creative ideas in areas such as advertising, branding, digital visualization, photography, illustration, and concept development. This comprehensive training prepares graduates to become skilled professional graphic designers and builds a progressive portfolio to enhance career prospects.

• 3 Credits in Relevant Subjects
• Pass a Specified Portfolio Test Conducted by TAR UMT
