The Doctor of Philosophy in Food Science by Research Mode at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT) is designed for qualified individuals seeking in-depth research and academic experiences in areas such as food quality and safety, functional food, food biotechnology, food processing, and fermentation.
This program benefits from the scientific expertise of faculty members and state-of-the-art facilities, providing a conducive research environment. PhD students can specialize in food chemistry, food microbiology, food processing, innovation, food product development, nutrition, and other food-related fields. Graduates will be prepared to make significant contributions to the food science industry and academia.
A Master's Degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework, MQF) in Food Science or related field accepted by the HEP Senate.
